Genesis takes great pride in inviting all Ventures and Rovers, Third Year Pathfinders and Rangers to Dorchester's Camp Bel November 13-15th 2009.

Cost
As we maintain and add quality programming that the youth come to expect from Genesis the camp fees are as follows:

Please pre-register as it helps us to set up in advance for accommodation locations for everyone. If your Company chooses not to pre-register for the Venturee, this will mean that you are not guaranteed a spot at the Venturee, and we will distribute you a site when you arrive however if numbers exceed our expectations then you may be forced to camp in a different location of the camp.Cheques
In the past some American Scouters have written Canadian funds on the front of the cheque. Please do not do this. The banks just send them back to us and we have to write or call you to get a replacement. Thank you in advance for you help. Make all cheques payable to "Genesis Venturee”
Directions
From Highway #401 take exit #203
Highway #73 (Elgin Road) and go north (1/2 mile) to Hamilton Road.
Turn left and go west (1/4mile) until you reach the main gate.
Arrival and Registration:
Registration begins at 5:00 PM and ends at 11:00 PM on Friday . Please have all registration and medical fitness forms completed before arriving. Copies of each of these can be found on the Pre-Registration page. You will be asked to register prior to proceeding to the camp site.
Unloading Instructions:
On Friday night you will arrive and load all your gear onto a tractor and trailer. This trailer will take you down the hill. At the bottom you will unload your gear onto your site. This is done because of the dangers the hill presents and the amount of staff needed to run the traffic on the hill. You will be asked to register at the building prior to loading your gear onto the tractor. There will be Pop-up tents set up in the unloading areas for gear but please be prepared with tarps to protect your gear as we will try to accommodate as best we can for the weather.

Parking:
Lots of parking will be availible at the top of the hill for all of your vehicles and trailers. Please feel free to bring as many cars as you wish but please try to car pool. Remember that absolutely NO cars or trailers will be allowed down the hill.
